Pleased to meet you! I am Tjasa (you may also call me TJ), and I am glad you're exploring dog training with me. I am the owner of Connected Canine - the behavior and brainy side of my training, and Play Hard Work Hard K9 which was created to serve working dogs and high energy dogs. If you have a high energy dog, a complex reactive or fearful dog, or otherwise challenging behavior dog, I love working with them all. I am also a LMT so if your dog has any physical soft tissue needs that I can help with, I love working with dogs in my massage practice. Methodology
In dog training as well as living and working with humans, I always strive to use positive reinforcement methods. Who doesn't like to be treated kindly, with patience?
I adhere to LIMA - least invasive minimally aversive methodology, because I believe in respect, trust, emotional attunement, and connection with all creatures, especially our most faithful friends, dogs.
I believe that positive reinforcement is the kindest method of interspecies communication and connection.
It is also the ethical and kind way to treat everyone. And if I was an animal, I would surely appreciate the intentional kindness and patience. ​
